Does TruWell manufacture all its own products?

TruWell controls every aspect of production for all TruWell products. From the purchasing of raw materials, to GMP manufacturing processes and a Quality Control and Quality Assurance program that is second to none, TruWell guarantees the best quality product available.

What quality control measures does TruWell have in place to insure I am getting the best quality product money can buy?

First, all TruWell products are produced in our state of the art 55,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility to provide the latest technologies available in the production of TruWell's therapeutic grade products. TruWell ensures quality at multiple steps throughout the manufacturing process of all of our products by adhering to all strict GMP standards. Each and every raw material is tested for purity and potency prior to production of the final product. Once in production, every TruWell product undergoes internal analytical and microbiological assays to ensure all of our products are the purest and most potent products available. Upon completion of the manufacturing process, every batch is randomly tested for potency and purity, in order to guarantee the quality, safety and efficacy of all TruWell products.

Can I take TruWell products if I am taking prescription drugs or have any existing medical conditions?

Do TruWell products contain any animal products?

Yes, some TruWell products contain materials derived from animals. Joint Care Gold contains Chondroitin and Glucosamine, which are both derived from bovine cartilage sources, HGH Gold contains bovine collagen and Osteo Care Gold contains bovine MCHC derived from animal bone. All animal products are certified BSE free and come from the purest of sources on this earth.

Can TruWell products be given to children?

You should always check with your child's health care provider prior to beginning any supplement program.

Can TruWell products be given to our pets?

Yes. For example, Joint Care Gold has been used in dogs and horses with excellent results, as has the LMV Gold.

What makes TruWell products different than other products on the market?

Are TruWell products FDA approved?

The FDA does not grant approval to Nutraceuticals, only prescription drugs. We are, however, regularly inspected by the FDA and the Texas Department of Health and must adhere to the highest of standards of Good Manufacturing Practices including laboratory analysis and product testing for potency and purity.

Are TruWell products 100% natural?

TruWell products are as natural as humanly possible. Natural means as derived from nature and some forms of some of the materials we use are not found in nature in forms that the body can use. For example: the minerals in our LMV, CMV and Osteo Care. The salt forms found in nature are not nearly as effective as the amino acid chelated forms so we use the most effective forms available.

Do TruWell products contain preservatives and are they safe?

Yes, our LMV Gold uses potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate as preservatives because they are totally safe and have many years of use with absolutely no side effects. They are also found in nature as sodium benzoate is derived from cranberries and prunes and potassium sorbate in numerous other fruits and berries.

TruWell products contain nutrients with levels higher than the RDI. Why is this?

The RDIs are the bare minimums of certain nutrients necessary to prevent some particular illness, not to insure optimal function of the Human Body. We use nutrient levels designed to significantly affect the body in optimizing performance on every level. Each formula is biochemically balanced for optimal human function.

The following values are the current recommendation daily intakes of vitamins and minerals based on a 2,000 calorie per day diet. Do TruWell products contain any harmful stimulants?

Absolutely Not! Our philosophy at TruWell is to use only nutrients that work with the body to enhance its natural abilities, not artificially stimulate it. Stimulants have been shown to be very dangerous to individuals who are not strong enough to handle the intense stimulation caused to the cardiovascular system.

Which Nutritional Supplements should I take and how do I know what to look for in a supplement?

The number one thing to look for in a supplement is quality. For example, you should look for Amino Acid Chelated Minerals over mineral salts such as Magnesium Oxide and Calcium Carbonate. This is one indication that the manufacturer cut corners to save money rather than give you the best possible product. Look for Natural Vitamin E versus synthetic. And most definitely liquids, powders and capsules over tablets. Tablets have the worst biological availability of any dosage form and most of the tablet is actually excreted from the body rather than absorbed and utilized. And remember, you get what you pay for. Quality is expensive. If a supplement is inexpensive, most likely that supplement uses substandard ingredients and cheap, inactive mineral salts and the results you desire will be hard to come by. How good you feel when you take a supplement says a lot about the quality and effectiveness of the product you take.

Why do I need supplements? Can't I get everything I need from foods?

A study conducted by the USDA showed that foods today do not contain the amounts of nutrients necessary for optimal function. In fact, some foods contained less than 20% of the nutrients they did a few years ago. Not to mention the prevalence of a diet heavily reliable upon fast foods and processed foods which have little or no nutrient value.
